About Us
Who We Are
Established in 2005, we are a compassionate Meetup community comprising individuals who have journeyed through separation, divorce, or the end of a long term relationship, and are committed to sharing our experiences to support others. Our mission is to offer moral and emotional support to anyone in a similar situation. We provide both virtual and in-person meetings, ensuring accessibility for members regardless of location.
Our primary aim is to cultivate a warm, safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where members can openly discuss their situations and emotional challenges. Through this supportive atmosphere, we empower individuals to move forward, create successful lives, and thrive. Confidentiality is paramount in everything we do, ensuring trust and respect within our community.
Our Support Meetings
Monthly Meetings: Our in-person gatherings, held on the 3rd Friday of each month, focus on specific topics such as emotional, financial, and legal aspects of divorce. Occasionally, these discussions are facilitated by professionals. During the summer months of July and August, these meetings are held online.
Roundtable Meetings: We offer several small online sessions each month where members share personal stories, discuss emotions, and ask questions. These meetings provide a supportive environment for genuine conversations and insights into navigating similar situations. Sessions are scheduled on alternate Saturday and Sunday mornings, as well as two weekday evenings per month.
For new members, participation in a support meeting is required before joining any of our social events.

Our Social Events
We emphasize that we are NOT a singles/dating/social group. Our social events are intended for members to connect with new, like-minded friends who can provide additional support during their challenging journeys. Our aim is to host events on most major holidays to ensure our members do not feel alone.
